 What is transmission?

The profound insight of  the Vedas describes the following

AgniÌ sarvÈ devatÈÌ’
All material bodies in the universe originate from Agni (energy).
sarvadevatyo agniÌ
Energy involves the entire material creation.
‘eka eva agnir bahudhÈ samiddhaÌ’

Everything in the universe is made of energy. Hence, energetic transmission is a natural characteristic of sentient beings, inanimate objects and places. Everything radiates a certain energy. The essence of the energy one radiates depends entirely on the vibrations that are active within their inner space.  People, even animals, can detect energy. For instance, when a person enters a room, everyone in that room can perceive the energetic transmission of this person; A joyful person spreads a wave of positivity,  a sad person shares their sorrow, and an aggressive presence creates unease and so on. You feel happy with happy people around you, depressed with sad people. Energy is shareable. We do that; even our pet animals can detect our energy and share theirs with us. What a person transmits changes depending on the situation, company, occasion, changing thoughts, and emotional ups and downs. Everyone is transmitting their inner climate in various ways.

If the mind is unsettled, the transmission is likewise.

The essence of the energy one radiates depends entirely on the vibrations that are active within their inner space. Most people's inner space is busy with a non-stop flow of thoughts and emotions. The transmission is ineffective, erratic, or momentary. When one is rested in their true essence, one naturally and effortlessly transmits that forcefield, and the receiver, over time, starts vibrating the same vibrational essence.  In the Indian spiritual tradition, Transmission (Shaktipat) is the most commonly used method to impart wisdom, peace and joy to others.

Is it possible to be truly happy?

You can be happy on a holiday, and feel flat on returning home. Happiness is a temporary feeling. It comes and goes.

Instead, I  help you be truly at peace. When you are at peace, you are able to welcome happy, sad, flat, and every other shade of human emotion, and yet you will still stay at peace. This sense of peace that does not fade with events, nor does it shout from rooftops. It's a state of true happiness without the outward signs. It's a quiet, resigned and settled state that is able to contain true happiness.

I feel I don't belong in this world

Who does?. This is a tell-tale sign of this planet's low consciousness of reality. Your true abode, even if concealed, constantly beckons you.

Even if you feel that way, you are here now! So, make the most of this opportunity to find your true abode. This world is a great guru, it throws you back with yourself on every step of the way. It breaks your heart, hurts and drowns you in sorrow, so you can find your true Home. The world is your guru. It coaxes you to find the guru within.

About not belonging in this world -No one feels they belong here. Everyone feels what you express. Everyone is a wounded soldier. Yet everyone tries really hard to fit in, belong, achieve name, fame, and success here.

You are not here to belong to this world. The world belongs to you. A  perceptual folly, there.

You are here, so the world is here, not the other way around.  When you are not here, is there a world then? In deep sleep, is the world there?

You are not in the world, the world is arising within you. When the consciousness leaves, the world departs too.

Don't try to fit in too much. Enjoy the world, engage with it fully, revel in it, and you will naturally become pleasantly detached.

Lotus flower, you are. In the world, but not of the world.

You belong with you, your true Self, which is everyone's true self, not just yours.

What is the point of life?

The point of life is to live. There is no point other than that.

This question troubles minds for two reasons. First, because the mind is logical, and it feels there must be a reason or purpose to all this. The mind cannot handle illogical.

Secondly, it's a rhetorical question that must never be answered, but deeply pondered over. Pondering adds depth to an otherwise mundane and random life.

Ancient Indian rishis pondered over this idea long and hard enough to come out the other end, drowned in the great unknowing.

You can give yourself a whole range of personal purposes, from staying active to knowing God. Mine was to know Self. When that came to fruition, it became clear that this was a personal purpose of mine. Life does not hold you down to purposes. Life is enough for life. A game, making castles on the beach. It is a game. You don't think about the point of it. You play, then stop, and go home. It's all forgotten about.

Life is just a much longer, bigger, packed full, intricate, enthralling and interactive version.

Living every moment, without your head getting in the way, is the whole point of life. Playing with abandon creates meaning in life. Play, let yourself immerse in life.

 What Is Spirituality?

More importantly, What Is It Not?

Everyone is looking for peace, happiness, a fulfilling life and seeking consciously and attempting to find all of that is the essence of spirituality. It is a dive in and discovering the inherent and infinite reservoir of true peace and contentment within.

The word 'Spirituality' is overused and often poorly used, and I find this word a tad dull. Growing up in India, I never heard the word in conversations. Spirituality is mentioned much more frequently here.  The spirituality checklist includes meditation, affirmations, psychic messages, spirits, the universe, Reiki, and self-improvement. It is thought to be about self-development, growing intuition,  psychic abilities, healing oneself,  and sundry mind and energy work. There is a lot of doership.  Spiritual jargon is entertaining for the mind; if anything, it serves as a distraction on a spiritual path.

Spirituality is about unveiling one's true self. The true centre rests gloriously but ever so quietly under all the racket about spirituality. People read a book and feel they know everything. The true Self is so ordinary in its magnificence that if you knew it, it would only make you humble, playful and more human. â€‹ Spirituality will make you pro-life. Your divine essence pulls at you, and puts you on the path to Dharma, You learn to live how you are meant to live. Divine-up is, in essence, Human-up.

Modern spirituality revolves around personal recognition. Spirituality often risks appearing wise and calm when it isn't.

Is the world more spiritual today?

Do you think a Global spiritual awakening is in progress?

The majority is always wrong... Logistically, too many people are spiritual. Too many are awakened. Too much noise. A few straightforward questions and you have the answer.

Do you see an awakened and self-aware collective or heads full of spiritual knowledge? Is love expressed through actions, or is it just empty words? Are people genuine, or are they merely putting on a front? Are human interactions heartfelt and soulful these days?

What is today's typical family like? Is a typical family now a sanctuary of deep human values of love, respect, connection, engagement, laughter, and encouragement? Do people appear happier and at peace? Are they freer, sovereign, in control of their destiny? What do their facial expressions and body language reveal? Are the children a bundle of joy? Are they carefree and playful, bubbly and wise?  Is there as much wisdom in the real world as there is in the Facebook memes and inspirational posts?

Are the ''experts'' treasure troves of knowledge, or are internet experts regurgitating stale knowledge?

A frank and direct inspection of the above questions will reveal the truth about the spiritual status of our world.

The world is not moving towards a collective spiritual awakening; it is quite the opposite. Just look around. However, you are always on that journey individually. But you are most likely misguided by the collective delusion. Your divine spark can be ignited instantly; it needs a touch of sincerity and willingness on your part. An Individual can become ready enough to dive into the deep end. However, a global awakening, as claimed by many, is not taking place.

The path to discovering your true self is challenging like nothing else. One passes through a metaphorical river of fire that burns away all the external wisdom and beliefs one holds onto. The glorious Self, which is completely unassuming, is present right where you are, but you are not present enough for it to reveal itself. That is a subtle difference between seekers and finders. Many are called...

When practiced rightly, spirituality is a deeply personal journey that often requires solitude, away from others, including soulmates, spiritual communities, and broader narratives. Your true essence is closer than your breath. Even if there is a shred of pretentiousness, you will miss it by a mile. Ultimately, spirituality is a very private affair, it has nothing to do with anyone else. Don't hide behind global movements; take responsibility and do your due diligence. Get off the spiritual bandwagon. â€‹â€‹

What is the biggest hurdle to becoming peaceful?

The notion that they can become peaceful. People seek through that notion, but they do not know or are not ready to receive it. The biggest hurdle is the lack of receptivity. people wanting peace in their headspace, but having no real willingness.  Peace is not something you can learn or acquire. It's hiding within you. If you are willing, really willing, you won't have to seek; it will reveal itself.  Trying too hard, but afraid to create any real space for it.  Becoming receptive is the biggest grace. The rest happens spontaneously.

What are the signs of inner progress?

The first and foremost sign is that you start settling down.

The mind stabilizes rather than going up and down with thoughts and emotions like a yo-yo. You are present in the ordinary events of day-to-day life, and less worried about the future.  Worries and concerns become fleeting, and an inner sense that things will turn out fine becomes more natural and pronounced.

You have the sense of being looked after and protected

Detached from the world, but pleasantly engaged with your personal life. You naturally become Energy-efficient. Your obstinacy to do inner work relaxes its grip.  Correctional energy becomes accepting.

You will become more private about your inner world. Some feel causeless joy.

Your seeking purifies,  your inner space is purged of  'the other', their good and bad, their praises and criticisms do not concern you as much. Progressively free from effort. You have a sense that your unfolding is exactly how it should be.
